Are Gel Blasters Legal?

With airsoft and paintball being banned or otherwise heavily regulated in most countries, it’s only natural to question the legality of gel blasters.

A gel blaster is a revolutionary blaster that is designed to shoot water-based gel pellets that are similar to Orbeez. They use rechargeable batteries to propel these pellets through the barrel, much like some types of airsoft. And like paintball, gel blasters shoot projectiles that burst upon impact.

However, gel blasters are considered much safer than paintball and airsoft. With that being said, are gel blasters legal? Or are they subject to regulation like in most countries?

Yes, gel blasters are 100% legal in the United States.  This is mainly because of the type of projectiles that gel blasters use, which are super-absorbent water beads that have little to no risk of causing an injury.
