Who YOU are:

Role

We are seeking a Brand Ambassador Associate to join our fun, playful and fast-growing team! **This role is part time (approximately 32 hours) and requires travel to both out of state and local events 90% of the time. This role will report to the Brand Ambassador Associate-Team Lead.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Spreading brand awareness through word-of-mouth marketing techniques
• Distributing posters, stickers, and flyers throughout their communities
• Convincing consumers to attend events or purchase products
• Operating as the “face” of a brand in physical and virtual networks
• Attending relevant events to promote their brand
• Transporting promotional materials to and from various locations
• Offering exclusive giveaways, promotions, or trials of a company’s product
• Advertising products or events on social media networks (as requested)
• Assist the Marketing and Communications Department in developing and executing promotional campaigns

• Engaged and energetic with strong presentation and oral communication skills 
• Approachable, friendly and comfortable interacting in group settings

• Knowledgeable about all things Austin and passionate about the Austin community 
• Willing to learn about and become well-versed in all City of Austin events and news 
• Ability to self-motivate with little or no supervision 
• Must be able to work some night and weekend hours 
• Must be able to travel out of state
• Must have a valid Driver’s License or valid Passport

A candidate for the position of Brand Ambassador Associate is an outgoing, dynamic person with exceptional written and oral communication skills. They are self-motivated individuals who will be responsible for engaging with others on a personal basis in order to promote the brand in both physical and virtual communities as requested. The ideal candidate can provide their own transportation and operate a vehicle, is able to carry up to 50+ pounds of materials and is comfortable standing for prolonged periods of time.
